Why packet:IX

Built different,
by design.

Open Peering

We peer with any network that meets our basic requirements — no traffic minimums, no discrimination based on size or geography.

Non-Profit Infrastructure

Every won you pay funds the exchange directly. No shareholders, no margins. Our finances are open and published.

Seoul's Network Core

Three carrier-neutral data centers across Seoul — Gangnam, Geumcheon, and Netrealty SL1 — covering Korea's major peering hubs.

Community Governed

Operated by and for the networks that use it. Transparent policies, open governance, and decisions made in the interest of members.

Process

Up and running in three steps.

We keep onboarding simple. From application to live traffic usually takes less than a week.
